Family Summer Literacy Boost videos

Research has demonstrated that many children lose as much as 30% of what they learned in the previous school year. Experts predict that the loss will be significantly higher this summer due to the COVID-caused gaps many children are already experiencing.  
BRSD, in partnership with Joyful Literacy, is offering a summer program to support parents and students in K-3 to prevent further reading loss during the summer break. This home-based program includes 10 Videos to help parents teach and practice the most important literacy skills with their children in playful ways. Each Video is supported with a Handout package.

Teachers have provided families with the passwords.
